To Travel is To Live.

I am so happy, now I can draw and paint my travels. I enjoyed my travels, both solo and with friends, in different countries before marriage. And I became even better at planning and better at time management after giving birth to my son. Then I started taking my baby son traveling with me since he was one year old, starting from my 28th birthday celebration, when I was in the last semester of my second master's degree; now he is eight years old, whether for short or long trips, we have created many beautiful memories traveling with my son, sometimes with my husband together. Multi-tasking at one time is what I am really capable of. And this have brought me so muh fun and joy to explore.

Some of my travel art...

Living in London has cultivated me a fantastic habit of walking to uncover the city's hidden gems. Countless captivating stories and diverse experiences are waiting to be discovered! I drew this artwork to depict my Sunday walk to the Columbia Road Flower Market! After a week of hard work spent reading and studying at school, it was refreshing to spend time walking. How grateful for the simple and gratifying pleasure it was!

Celebrating International Museum Day on May 18.

I painted the museum where I worked as a Full-time Museum Educator and Exhibition Area Management function at the Shanghai Natural History Museum, a branch of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. My time there has had a significant impact on me. In China, the Bianzhi system is a unique feature of public institutions, and passing the necessary examinations is essential to secure a stable position as a staff member with government benefits at one of the country's leading museums. The museum, known for its distinctive architecture, is located in Jing'an Sculpture Park and officially re-opened in 2015, the year I joined.

Museums are complex organizations that serve multiple functions, especially in natural science, where they act as research centers and promote public education. Each function plays an important role, transforming the museum into an informal learning environment. I benefited greatly from this experience, as it opened my eyes to the wonders of nature. I also had the privilege of working with talented mentors who are passionate educators, scholars, and many amazing volunteers from different backgrounds. Nonetheless, I encountered the complexities of workplace dynamics within such a prominent institution. Like any workplace, it had its ups and downs, reminding me that no organization or individual is perfect. No matter what, in many ways, museums are responsible for promoting social justice through education, which lies at the heart of effective museum education.

Working with challenges and many projects involves gaining knowledge and insights, fostering a love for nature, and exploration. When I recall now, when I paint in 2025, which is 10 years later to look back, I am so grateful for my friends and family visiting me, especially my aunt, cousin, grandparents, the memories with family are what I value most.

I am still grateful for my previous work experience; it cultivated me, for I am now an artist and art educator. I still appreciate nature and keep learning about it, for God made His masterpiece of the natural world.

        Description:

Hi, Scotland Highlands! The Scottish atmosphere is truly enchanting. I am painting my experiences of traveling here; it was a beautiful time!

        当我行走在光中…我必得见光!

I am gladly walking in the light! I created mixed-media collage art of myself based on my walking in Paris. Sometimes, you are chasing the light to go out of the darkness. Sometimes, you realize you are the light in the darkness to illuminate the path ahead! How I write is how I talk to myself.
