Music, especially singing, is my ultimate passion. Music is a must thing in everyday life. As a personal preference for myself, Singing is a crucial warm-up before I start painting, and Music is an essential accompaniment while I create art. Listening to Music and singing along is a non-negotiable part of my process. Music, in lyrics, rhythm, and melodies, is one of the most critical powers for strengthening my creative artwork in drawing or painting, especially when I create art spontaneously and intuitively in the abstract while combining life traveling and reading reflection. I share some of my “Take Heart” series of abstract paintings, for this is also an encouragement for me, and I hope it also brings some positive energy to people who need some encouragement. I also attached the poems my husband, Dr. Samuel Bai, wrote in Mandarin Chinese for my artwork for his deep understanding and appreciation of my artwork, for he also can tell what I am hard to express in words. I love my husband’s heartfelt poems, recognizing and capturing the core of the emotions, feelings, and abstract expression I pour into my work, and even his writings are beyond. It’s wonderful to have someone who truly understands my abstract art. I’m grateful for this blessing and cherished joy. Praise the Lord.
