Details about the bilingual art courses I am offering in 2024.

*All listed art courses have been designed and taught by myself since 2020.

I offer courses for a wide age range, from 5-year-olds to adults. The classes can be accessed online(zoom) and onsite(SF East Bay) and are typically one-on-one or for small groups of 2-5 people.

1. Bilingual Storytime Music and Art (ages 5 to 10), only available online. It is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and requires at least the ability to listen to Mandarin Chinese. And also create illustrated poem music as a feature.
2. Classic Children's Literature and Art (ages 10-14) is a literary Art journey combining reading and art, only available online. It includes books such as Anne of Green, Little Women, The Secret Garden, The Wind in the Willow, etc. Depending on the student's language proficiency, it can be conducted in English, Chinese, or a bilingual mix of both. 
3. *NEW!* Portrait and Figure Painting (ages 12+) aims to learn the fundamental knowledge and skills required to accurately depict human faces and figures, capturing each individual's spirit and unique characteristics. Beginning with a realistic style, the course progresses to an artistic, expressive, semi-abstract style, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others through the eyes of a trained artist.
4. Intuitive Painting for Emotional Healing (ages 12+) is focused on abstract painting, with music, subconscious, and combining meditation; it will be a mixed arts expressive approach applied to deliver the message from one's own heart, spiritual and innermost or higher self, with the guide from a higher power from the faith one holds.
5. Nature Literature and Art (ages 12+), partially combining bilingual nature literature reading and art practicing focus on nature-themed art projects and creating illustrated poem music as a feature.
6. Travel Art Journal (for adults) utilizes various mixed-media art materials to document thoughts, reflections, and observations. This includes landscapes, cityscapes, animals, people, etc., within sketchbooks while experimenting with and exploring personal visual language in art.
7. Onsite Outdoor Art  (ages 5 to adults)- where we sketch and paint in the SF East Bay, such as in the park, beach, hiking trails, local coffee shop, library, etc.
8. Customized Art Courses, Workshops, or Retreats (for ages 5 to adults, families, corporate, fellowship, etc.) depend on the learning interests and goals; there will be more to discuss in detail. (*The length and tuition fees for Customized Art Courses will differ from those of Regular Art Courses.)

Regular Art Courses Tuition fee:

- Private (1 student): $45 per class (75mins)

- Small group (2-5 students): $27 per class (75mins) per student (with a 30% sibling discount) 

- Tuition fees can be paid monthly (4 classes), seasonally (12 classes), six months (24 classes), or yearly (48 classes). 

- Additional discounts apply for payments made for six months or yearly.

Art materials:

Upon registering for the course and paying the tuition fees (through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal), you will receive a detailed PDF via email with art material recommendations, including graphite pencils, colored pencils, pastels, pens, ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, sketchbook, proper art paper, and other essential tools.
